Dong-ahn-guh Day 60 – Self-Reiki on my lung meridians

My Jungbub Journal – Sixtieth Day of Dong-ahn-guh (winter meditation retreat)

Self-Reiki on my lung meridians

———–

Breathing has been an issue since I was very young. As a kid, I caught a cold every year. My memories about the springtime at my early age are connected with fever, coughing, and being sick.

In Oriental Medicine, they consider lungs and large intestines are interconnected. My large intestines were also sensitive when I was stressful as a kid.

Now, breathing is becoming an issue again. Lately, I wake up early morning (3 am – 5 am) because I could not breathe. 3 am – 5 am is the time when the lung meridian becomes active based on Oriental Medicine. I also find my arms feel tingling or even numb. Lung meridians pass through the inside of arms. They must be all interconnected.

Then, I start to do Reiki (energy healing) on my lung meridians and my chest. In around 15 minutes, I start to breathe comfortably and go back to sleep.

It must be a message for me to take care of this issue. So, I do Reiki on my chest whenever I have chances throughout the day. Also, before I sleep, I do self-Reiki as praying for sound and rejuvenating sleep.

Will pay more attention to my breathing and lungs during the rest of Dong-ahn-guh.
