Breathing Training Day-15, 16: Making a center in the dahn-jon

My body feels weird. I woke up at 3am. I was lightheaded. But I knew I could not go back to sleep. My mind was getting clearer, so I got out of bed and started the breathing training.

Today I realized that I needed to move up to the next level of the training. After expanding the dahn-jon system, I made an anchor point at the center. The location of the center is a point where two lines meet: one line connecting the belly button and the tip of the tailbone, and the other is the central line penetrating from the top of head to the perineum.

I placed an imaginary dot. It can be a laser dot, candle, or an incense charcoal burner. The dot was burning as a bright orange and red light under the deep ocean.

When I breathed in, a new energy came in through myeong-mun and spiraled in to reach the center. If I saw the flow of the energy from the side, it would make a spiral pattern like a seashell.

When I breathed out, the energy in my chest moved down to dahn-jon. At the time, my physical chest sank down and the energy also sank down like morning dew falling on the ground early in the morning.

Not only dahn-jon, also our chest is an important energy generator. When we breathe in, as air enters the lungs, energy enters together. When we breathe out, fine energy sinks down and passes the diaphragm to reach the dahn-jon.

The two energy streams, one entering through myeong-mun and the other descending from the chest, become the main fuel for the light/flame/fire/burner at the center of my dahn-jon.

** Later I will draw the circuits where the energy streams flow.

The next day, I couldn’t sleep long enough but I could manage my day. It was a productive day. I continued the breathing training focusing on the center of my dahn-jon. I had a feeling that it would take a long time to build a strong core in my dahn-jon.

Our consciousness is light.

Our consciousness is light.

We cannot see the light itself.

We only see the reflection of the light when it hits an object.

The reason why we can see the source of light is because the light hits the retina of our eyes.

We easily confuse an object with the light reflection of it. So, we mistake ourselves as objects around us. Even thoughts and emotions are objects. Our consciousness observing the thoughts and emotions is I. If you just talked to yourself ‘I don’t have thoughts’, that’s one of your thoughts and they keep changing.

Meditation guides us to experience ourselves as the light. When we differentiate the object from the reflection of light, we will be able to change our lives.

I am in the seat of consciousness.

I am the pure light.

Things are showing up in our life because I have a duty to improve them and a karma to pay. My world perceived by my consciousness improves every day because I exist.
