Develop myself first, then work on achievement

I want to ponder more on what Jim Rohn said.
(It’s the beauty of journaling. I can clarify my thought as writing the flows of my thoughts from different perspectives.)
Jim Rohn said, “Our levels of success will rarely exceed our level of personal development, because success is something we attract by who we become.”
The biggest cause which limits our success is the lack of self-development. Self-development improves knowledge, confidence, self-trust, humbleness, personal power, positive attitude, mental clarity, vitality and so on. These characters are our internal aspects. That’s “who we become”.
We attract our external situations/incidents/environments by who we become. If we want to change our life, we need to change who we become. In other words, if we want to succeed, we need to develop ourselves who deserve success.
Wisconsin man, 24, claims $768 million Powerball jackpot

We watch the 20-minute YouTube version of NBC Nightly News every evening. Yesterday, the news introduced a young man who won a $768 million lottery in Wisconsin.
I found out that some states allow the lottery winners to remain anonymous. Unfortunately, not Wisconsin. So the poor man was announced as a jackpot winner and had to host a news conference. The news said he quit his job.
Is he a winner?
Or a victim?
I don’t know about him. He looks like a good man. That’s all I can tell. Yet, I doubt if he has developed himself enough to manage and utilize $768 million well.
How will his life be doing at the age of 30?
How about 40 or 50?
If he’s still alive, how about 60 or 70?
The answer is that it depends on how he will develop himself.
Another factor is that when money leaves from us in a stupid way, it hurts us emotionally, mentally and eventually physically.
