My Jungbub Journal – Fifty Eighth Day of Dong-ahn-guh (winter meditation retreat)
A life being appreciated
———–
As I study Jungbub, I understand the importance of a relationship. What kind of relationship do I want to build?
Eventually, I want to build a relationship that I’m loved and respected. That depends on what I do to other people.
Currently, I want to build a relationship that people appreciate me. As I run the business, I feel that my clients’ energy influence my energy a lot. For instance, SEO work gives me lots of stress. In the beginning, I feel how stressful they are. I feel their energy and help them to solve their problem. That’s what they pay for: my solution to their problem.
A good thing is that I also feel how much they are grateful when I solve their problem or something that keeps them from sleeping at night. That gratitude feeds my energy and my business. I turn stress into gratitude.
Luckily, all my clients appreciate my work so far. Now I imagine what if they hate me and my work. That’s an awful feeling. I don’t want to run a business that people hate.
I need to focus on building the relationships that clients appreciate me. That depends on what I do for them. Those relationships will become a strong foundation for my business. If my business is a tree, the relationship will be fertile soil.
